What is Collaborative Learning?
Collaborative Learning is an educational approach that involves groups of learners working together to solve a problem, complete a task, or create a product. It is based on the idea that learning is a naturally social activity. Learning occurs through active engagement among peers, equally responsible for meeting set activity outcomes and working together in a cooperative manner.
Learning activities can either be face-to-face or online or a combination of both. This means even students from different schools can participate in the Collaborative Learning opportunities presented to students. Approaches involving shared intellectual effort so that all students can maximise their learning through interaction, shared understanding and creation. This approach foster the idea of cooperation and teamwork.
