Personalised Learning

What is Personalised Learning?

Personalised learning is an educational approach that aims to customise learning to each student’s strengths, skills and interests and can involve experiential learning, teacher-led instruction, group work and flexible hours. The most common types of personalised learning are pace-driven or student driven – both designed to give students greater control of either how they want to learn or what they want to learn.

A more customised learning experience means teachers individually assess a student, give feedback in real-time and adapt their learning content to any challenges along the way. Personalised Learning should not to be confused with “blended learning,” which means the teaching and learning process is supported by integrating technology. Personalised Learning is a potential approach to meeting future educational needs and will provide new alternatives to foster learning capacity among our students.
