Is your school implementing Innovative Learning Environments. SCEC has the scaffolded support and experience to be your critical friend through what can be a stressful and demanding process. It can often be helpful to have third party complete a walk through with the relevant staff to ascertain the needs and requirements of the learning community.
SCEC has developed the strategies that will allow you to;
- Identify the future possibilities of your site or spaces
- Put the planning in place to transition staff
- Design Innovative Learning Environments that actually improve students outcomes.
SCEC can produce a Needs Analysis Report specific to your environment that can give a school a roadmap to start the move to a more contemporary pedagogical approach. Pedagogy is after all the first step in making the move to Innovative Learning Environments and improved student outcomes.
Learning Analysis Report Overview
This Report is designed to be a starting point for schools considering implementing Innovative Learning Environments. The report will;
- Identify the current and future demographics of the area
- Explore the range of pedagogical models being used within the school
- Identify the current use and efficiencies of space within the school
- Investigate where and how the school could introduce new pedagogical environments, i.e. Which year group would benefit the most?
- Articulate possible available options in terms of innovative learning environments;
Using this report schools will be able to make informed decisions about investment in Innovative Learning Environments and professional learning.
It is important to note that the investment in Innovative Learning Environments is only half the equation. The other half is introducing effective pedagogical change.
